Fishing in Oulu in summer and winter

Fishing in the summer and fishing in the winter are Oulu's people's favourite pastimes! It is also a great way for tourists visiting the city to spend a nice family time. Self-active fishermen can fish in Kuusisaari in summer, cast a line in Tukkisaari, catch a big salmon in the Alakanava area or go ice-fishing on the Perämeri Sea in Nallikari with dozens of other winter fishermen. In autumn, you can also watch whitefish being caught on Kuusisaari and even try your own skills on the shore. On a guided excursion with a knowledgeable fishing guide, you might even catch some of the rarer finfish in your pike. Of course, when fishing, you must respect the fishing regulations.
